Altona College Facebook Page

Classroom Volunteer Workshop

The Prep – 6 teachers are looking for some Classroom Helpers to begin volunteering and supporting students and teachers in our classrooms. The Classroom Volunteer Workshop is designed to provide parents/caregivers with the knowledge and strategies to support our students in the learning areas of Literacy and Numeracy. Attendance at the course is highly recommended. A valid Working with Children Check card  is mandatory in order to support children in the classroom or as a volunteer on excursions. These can be obtained online at https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/

The Classroom Volunteer workshop session will be held on Thursday 23rd February 9.10am – 10am. All parents, grandparents and family members are welcome to attend.
