NAPLAN 2023

For Parents of students in Years 7 and 9,

NAPLAN testing will occur in Term 1 this year, with the first test, Writing, scheduled for Wednesday 15 March. All tests will be administered electronically, so it is very important that students have charged laptops every day. It is also essential that students have earphones for the tests. Please note, though, that earphones must not have Bluetooth capability. This is a national regulation, not a school decision. The Saints Shop is selling NAPLAN appropriate earphones for $2 should your son need to purchase earphones for the tests. Please see below for the NAPLAN testing schedule at Saints.

Wednesday 15  March – Writing

Friday 17 March – Reading 

Tuesday 21 March – Language Conventions

Thursday 23 March – Numeracy

All tests will be administered by the students’ Homeroom teachers, with the tests starting in Homeroom.

Should students arrive too late or be absent on the day, make-up test sessions will occur at various times in Week 8 or Monday of Week 9 (20 March).
