Social Growth

The Junior Community has been learning about COMMUNICATION. Students have been exploring greetings and the numbers from 1 to 10 in different languages, as well as gestures and Australian sign language (Auslan). There are many different ways we are able to communicate whether it be verbal or nonverbal. 

Students have been discussing how our value of Be Kind can be reflected in how we communicate and interact with each other. Students have worked to broaden and strengthen their social connections through communication. They have had opportunities to practise these skills by playing cohort games such as 40/40 on Active Friday and during fluid groups.
