Thailand International Science Fair

My experience at the Thailand International Science Fair

Hi my name is Puneet Ram Badireddi and from the 13th to the 16th of February, I received the magnificent opportunity to partake in the Thailand International Science fair representing John Monash Science School.

I have to say it was one of the greatest achievements of my time at JMSS. I got to meet new people and lecturers who gave me constructive criticism whilst also praising my critical thinking and creativity. Moreover, listening to the presentations presented by other schools from different nations inspired me to gain more ideas regarding my future projects.

My project was testing to see if a human could control a robotic arm through bluetooth signals, and since it was in the physics field, I was grouped with people who had similar investigations. Listening to their methods and results motivated me, wanting to create an even more outstanding project in the future, in which I could expand on my current skills. Furthermore, along with the presentations and science parts, the performances were thrilling and engaging along with the guest speakers were inspiring. My favorite one was about a scientist who was researching artificial intelligence, perhaps I liked it because it was closely related to my project.

Overall, I had a great time and would do more in the future. I’d like to thank Dr. Denney who gave me the chance to present myself at the TISF science fair and can’t wait for more in the future.

Kind Regards

Puneet
