Welcome to the Year 7

Message from the Year 7 Level Leader

In the spirit of hospitality we warmly welcome the new Year 7 students and their families to Marian College. Our theme this year is Justice and students have all ready begun exploring ideas and thoughts relating to this theme.  It was a wonderful start to see so many smiling happy faces in the Agnes Lyng building.

Marian College is a safe and vibrant place of learning for all of our students. Your daughter’s Homeroom Teacher alongside her Year 7 Level Leader and Learning Leader, will monitor her learning and wellbeing. We look forward to forming strong partnerships with our parents and guardians, so please call your daughter’s Homeroom Teacher/Year Level Leader/Learning Leader should you have any pastoral care or academic concerns. 

At Year 7 we present students with many learning opportunities that will ensure growth and excellence and serve to develop successful learners that are confident, creative, active and informed citizens. One of the first activities to start this journey will be the Year 7 Camp at Marysville.  Staff are excited to be working with the students on a variety of activities designed to boost confidence and develop collaborative and supportive relationships with other members in the homeroom.
