The John Monash Science School – a specialist secondary school for science, mathematics and associated technologies.

Open to Year 10 students with a passion, interest and talent for science and mathematics, the

exchange will occur for 3 weeks in Term 2 or 3 and will be a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience hands-on learning in a variety of scientific disciplines. As part of the program, Ethan, Kasey, Ruby and Meagan will be provided with homestay accommodation with a family connected to John Monash Science School.

Year 10 Maffra SC student, Ethan Hooper, is currently participating in the John Monash Regional Exchange Program. Ethan will spend 3 weeks at the John Monash Science School (a specialist STEM school) and he will experience hands-on learning in a variety of scientific disciplines and participate in a number of activities on-campus at Monash University in Clayton. Congratulations Ethan, and we hope you have a great time!

We also have 3 Year 10 students that will participate in the program in Term 3. Congratulations to Kasey Svenson, Ruby Wolstenholme, and Meagan Webster.
