TEACHERS VS STUDENTS END OF TERM SOCCER MATCH 

Well it was a tough match but the staff prevailed over the dynamic Year 6s in the final minutes, beating them 3-2. The students showed great resilience and athleticism as they ran the staff ragged over the big pitch, yet it was Mr G who helped tip the scores in favour of the teachers by slipping past Gus on goals to seal the deal. Well done everyone!

Year 5 & 6 Balaclava District Sport Round Robin Wrap

Last week, all Year 5 and 6 students participated in the BDPSSA Summer Round Robin in their sport of choice.  Students have been training on Friday mornings for either Softball, Volleystars, Basketball or Hockey throughout the term in preparation for this day of competition against local schools in our district.

Congratulations to all teams who represented Ripponlea Primary School last Tuesday! Everyone enjoyed their day out and, more importantly, all teams improved over the course of the day as a result of their involvement. 

A special congratulations goes to the Mixed Softball Team who won all their games on the day and were crowned District Champions! This team will represent the Balaclava District in the Beachside Division competition to be held in term 4.

Members of the winning team were Frankie, Elena , Gabe, Lewyn, Eve, Alex, Gus, Oliver, Peter, Avalon, Lenny and Rio. Well done, team! 

Foundation to Year 6 House Cross- Country

The Foundation – Year 6 House Cross Country will be held on Friday 6 May.
