Walk for Justice and Freedom for Refugees

We invite those of you who can, to join us as we march in this year’s Palm Sunday Rally on Sunday 10 April. 

United, we will show solidarity with individuals and groups who want to welcome people seeking refuge and treat all those who have arrived with dignity and care.

Please make your own way to the State Library, to meet at 2.00pm (corner of Swanston and Latrobe Streets).

Building Bridges

Kilbreda hosted the latest evening of the Building Bridges program on Monday 28 March. Students from Nazareth, Mt Hira, The King David School, Mazenod and Killester were given an overview of our College history and the importance of our Brigidine Tradition. 

This was followed by a tour of the College in groups led by our students. A pizza dinner, shared in the Kildare Centre, was a highlight and gave everyone a chance to sit and chat, make new friends and catch up with old ones. 

The Building Bridges facilitators of young volunteers then conducted group discussion sessions. The groups were made up of students from each school.

Well done to the following Year 11 students who were amazing in the lead up to and on the night. You were so organised! Vali D, Aliki E, Rachel J, Kyla A, Erika H, Mary T, Mai W, Andeana C and Thea T.
