Winter Sporting Season Launch

Trinity’s first round of the 2022 Winter PSA season begins this week against Christ Church. Our 1st teams have been busy preparing throughout the holidays for what we hope will be some very promising seasons. Football and Rugby camps, training sessions, Badminton round robin tournaments, Jacob Ladder runs, and various scratch matches were organised over the last three weeks to give our boys the best opportunity to be competitive against every school. 

Congratulations to the following students for being elected as Captains and Vice-Captains of each of the 1st teams. *Please refrain from sharing these names with your son/s until they are announced at respective season launches later this afternoon.

All these students have displayed terrific leadership skills not only in the lead up to the season, but throughout their time at Trinity. These gentlemen will lead each of their teams with pride and will be strong role models for both the first teams, as well as the younger students in their sport.

The middle school and senior school teams had several training/trial sessions prior to the holidays, as well as a final training session this week in preparation for their first game. It has been so pleasing to see the students commitment and dedication to develop their knowledge of the game, improve their skills, and enjoying playing sport for Trinity. The teachers and coaches have worked tirelessly to provide the students with the tools necessary to succeed. 

I wish all the best to every teacher, coach and student for the season ahead.
