St James Park Masterplan

Council is developing a Master Plan for St James Park opposite HWPS, to help us manage and maintain the park over the coming years and conserve this piece of Boroondara history. 

The plan will also include a Tree Management Plan for the site to make sure our trees continue to be carefully managed and renewed for current and future generations to enjoy.

We will be seeking feedback to help us shape this draft Master Plan, including the Tree Management Plan. We plan to open community consultation later this week and close the consultation on Tuesday 26 April 2022. During the consultation period, we will also hold two drop-in sessions onsite where you can have your say in person, talk with our staff or walk through the park with our arborists.

Drop-in session 1: 

Date: Tuesday 5 April 2022

Time: 2:30 to 4pm

Location: St James Park in between the playground and war memorial.

Drop-in session 2: 

Date: Saturday 9 April 2022

Time: 12:30 to 3pm

Location: western side of the sporting oval at St James Park.
