The Year 12 Formal 2022 held recently at The Sovereign, Thornbury, was a wonderful occasion, celebrating the friendship and camaraderie of our Year 12 students embracing the first milestone in their final year at the college.

Over 140 guests (students and staff) attended the event - dressed to the nines and keen to enjoy the night.  It was wonderful to see the students away from the classroom, and to witness the strong bonds that has formed between them.  Together, they dined and danced the night away, enjoying speeches and fun award presentations throughout the evening.  They made the most of the opportunity to celebrate, with many smiles and much laughter throughout the night. 

The Formal  event has put a spring in the step of the Year 12 cohort, raising their determination to face the challenges of the months ahead - together and united.

I am so pleased that the Year 12 Formal was such a success - it was definitely worth all the effort in organising and preparing for the event.  I am sorry that illness meant that myself and several Year 12 students were unable to attend - but we were there in spirit to celebrate with the cohort - and they did us proud by the sound of it!  I has been great to hear all the positive feedback and to see how much the students enjoyed the event - and to see the photographic evidence!

The formal was a spectacular evening and I enjoyed being together with all my mates celebrating our last year at Brunswick. Everyone dressed up and hit the dancefloor and made it a night to remember! I feel so fortunate that we were able to have a formal event this year and be together as one with my cohort.

It was really good to see everybody interacting and talking with peers they don't usually get to hang out with. The location was amazing -   it was a night that everyone will remember for the rest of their lives!

Formal was awesome, lots of fun, and I got to see someone do a backflip (on the dance floor)! I would love to do it again if I could.
