Socktober

for Mission Month

On Friday 28th October, students of Kildare Catholic College came together to support food security for families in Ethiopia by holding a cake stall and wearing “Crazy Socks” for a gold coin donation, to support Catholic Mission’s Socktober. The highlight of the day was the “Shootouts Challenge” on the Oval in Year groups, held at lunchtime.

A huge thank you to the Senior SRC Leaders and the Cake Stall volunteers.

A special shoutout to our “Celebrity GoalKeepers” who defended their goals.

Thank you to everyone who supported Kildare’s Catholic Mission Socktober Appeal. Almost $1000 was raised through wearing crazy socks and the cake stall. A wonderful community effort!
