YOUNG PEOPLE OF BAYSIDE ART EXHIBITION

Ella and Ava both love visual art and attend the Melbourne Studio of Art each Tuesday after school. They both entered their self portraits into the Bayside Young Artists Competition. Last week they attended the awards ceremony where they received certificates and Ava N came runner up in the Primary School category!!

JUNIOR ART

In Visual Art this week, our junior students discussed how a mother bird keeps her eggs and hatchlings safe in a nest until they are strong and brave enough to take wings and fly. We created these adorable birds nests and our birds by using recycled cardboard rolls and off cuts of cartridge papers. We then added eyes and bright feathers to make our own bird families.
