Sports Update

The  first event of term 4 was on October 6th with 15 students heading out to Southern Metropolitan Region Athletics at Casey Fields. The weather didn’t look promising in the morning with plenty of clouds and rain around in the morning however sun broke through and it was actually a really pleasant day.

Of our 15 athletes we had 5 students making it through to State Finals which will be held at Lakeside Stadium on Monday 17th October. 

Results were:

• Ashton Kelly, Harvey Klauer, Tyler Rammstien, Grady Woods -  4 x 100m Relay - 1st
• Asha Morrow - 1500m - 2nd
• Alex Healy - Shot Put - 2nd
• Katrina Bosanquet - Discuss - 2nd
• Taya Mead - 100m - 2nd
• Jess Amos- 400m - 3rd
• Tayla Corbett - Shot Put - 3rd

Also a big shout out to Tayla Anderson, Charlie Carter, Kobe Dillion, Will Mayers, Jacob Winen for their efforts on the day as well, in strong fields they weren’t too far off the medals as well.
