PFA Update

Hi All,

Thanks to everyone who helped with Saturdays Democracy sausage BBQ and food stall. The event raised a lot of money for the school and was a great addition to the election day buzz at the school. High praise came from one of the candidates, who said of all the polling stations they had attended on the day, our cake stall was the best! 

We held the much-awaited book stall this week, with lots of happy children purchasing a preloved booked. Thanks to all the families for donations and for helping on the day.  We are looking at running this termly given the excitement of the kids buying! We will keep you posted!

Grandparents' day was beautiful, with the morning tea very well attended. The grandparents and special people generously sponsored books to raise money for our library.

Sushi orders should all be in now, with these been delivered to the classroom on Thursday! Please reach out if you can help Asha and Team.

We are holding a Fete planning meeting on Tuesday 31 May from 7:30pm in the staff room at school to discuss the Fete.  We are looking for parents who are keen to be involved in the planning of this year's event. We need a diverse skill set on the team ranging from marketing, food and beverage to entertainment and just plain organised. If you're keen to see how you can help either in a lead role or support, we would love to see you. 

The last School Uniform Shop of the term will run on Friday 10th June (8.30am- 9.15am). Thanks to Cindy, Jean and the team for their efficient management of these days. House Colour Tees will also be sold here, so please get sorted for the next House Event. They are $10. This will be at the end classroom closest to the Oval. You can enter from the side gate on Clark Street,  close to the Poolman street corner. Card and Cash payments will be possible, but please try and have the correct money if paying cash.

Finally, The cupcake stall is to be held on Wednesday 22nd June.  We would love families to donate cupcakes, slices, cookies etc. to the school staffroom by Tuesday 2lst June.  All products will be sold at $2 each.   Any leftover goodies will be sold after school.  We will need volunteers to help on the day please sign up here
