Week 5, Term 2 2022

Every Monday Morning we come together as a school community to share prayer. Thank you to Year 4 & 5 White for leading us in prayer over the last few weeks. In the coming weeks Year 3 and Year 1 White will be leading us in prayer.

PARISH MASSES 

This term the students from Prep to Year 3 will have the opportunity to celebrate Mass at St Anne’s at one of the weekday masses. 

St Anne’s Parish weekday masses are on Wednesday and Fridays at 9:15am 

FAMILY FAITH EVENING - SACRAMENT OF FIRST EUCHARIST

We would like to extend an invitation to all our Year 4 families to attend our Family Faith Evening which will explore the Sacrament of Eucharist

First Eucharist Family Faith Evening

Tues 7th and Wed 8th June at St Anne’s Church 6:30pm

There are two sessions so that families can choose a date that they would prefer.

Sacrament of Confirmation

Sunday 9th October, 2pm at St. Patrick's Cathedral.

PLEASE NOTE: Information regarding the Sacrament and registering and booking for the Sacrament of Confirmation will be via TryBooking and will be sent out in the coming weeks. 

Sacrament of First Reconciliation

Thursday 20th October, 5pm & 7pm at St. Anne’s Church

PLEASE NOTE: Information regarding the Sacrament and registering and booking for the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be via TryBooking and will be sent out early Term 3. 

THANK YOU TO THE YEAR 1 & YEAR 2 FAMILIES:

A couple of weeks ago we had our Year 1 & 2 Family Faith Evening which had a focus on Our Church, Our Mass, Our Family. It was great to see so many parents with their children attend the evening! The children thoroughly enjoyed the evening and appreciated being able to share it with their parents.

A huge thank you to all the Families who were able to attend the evening. The support for your child and our school was much appreciated!

YEAR 1 & YEAR 2 FAMILY MASS

SUNDAY 29TH MAY 10:30am AT ST ANNE’S CHURCH

On Sunday 29th May at St Anne's Church at 10:30am we will celebrate a special Year 1 & Year 2 Family Mass. We invite and encourage all families to join us at this special Mass. 

THIS WEEK OUR CHURCH WILL CELEBRATE THE FEAST OF THE ASCENSION OF THE LORD

 The Feast of the Ascension of the Lord is the 40th day of Easter and commemorates the ascension of Jesus into heaven after his resurrection. Jesus spent 40 days preaching and preparing his disciples to perform the work of spreading the Good News.
