ANZAC DAY 2022

ANZAC DAY

Members of our Student Leadership group participated in commemorative services in Mornington and Mount Eliza on ANZAC Day. Our students marched proudly in Mornington along side returned service personnel. Our School Captains Abbey Bradley and Claire Howlett read ‘ANZAC Day Thoughts’ and Olivia Harrison and Milla Pukarinen laid a wreath on behalf of our College community. At the Mt Eliza service, James Richards read short poem and Hayley Richards and Abbey Bradley laid a wreath on our behalf.

Our Student Ambassadors also ran a moving service for our staff and students on Thursday 28th April. Abbey Bradley and Claire Howlett were our MC's for the commemoration service. Olivia Harrison, Jasmin Little and Milla Pukarinen read the Eulogy of the Unknown Australian Soldier, a speech delivered by former Prime Minister Paul Keating. Parker Lange-Ward read the Ode and Hayley Richards and Chelsea Rix read a reflection of ANZAC Day. The poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ was read by Amelia Rix and James Richards and Jedd Anderson and Lizzie Abeling laid wreaths.

A very big thank you and well done to all of our students who represented the College in ANZAC Day services this year.
