OPEN EVENING 2022

On Thursday 5th May, we hosted an “Open Night” for the purpose of presenting key features of the school to prospective families for 2023. Over the past few years, we have held this night as a Q&A forum to allow the families to have a voice in the proceedings. Our panel consisted of mainly students: Lily Abbott, Luke Abbott, Lily Marx, Freya Hollingworth, James Richards and our College Captains Abbey Bradley and Claire Howlett along with our Assistant Principal, Celeste Lombardi and Transition Coordinator, Will Lawson. The night was a great success, hosting approximately 300 people and provided a range of topics from subject selection to wellbeing practices to help support our students at MESC. Our students, in particular our year 7 duo Lily and Luke Abbott, were fantastic. They provided detailed insight into life at school with enthusiasm and cleverly integrated humour.”
