A fantastic dodge ball competition has taken place this week with every home group being involved. A huge number of students have attended to watch the competition and the winning year 8 home group will play the teachers.
Humanities Cultural day
What a fantastic day for our students
Students engaged in a full day at school learning about other cultures. Chris Ardi Year 8 Humanities teacher organised the day which consisted of :
Indigenous Immersion ; students listened to stories of the past and the didgeridoo. Students also engaged in special face painting that represented cultural/spritual significance. Students participated in story telling through dance. The day also consisted of African Drumming, Brazilian hip hop, the Chinese fan dance and the Taiko drummers. It was a great immersive cultural experience for the students.
