Principal's Update

Welcome from the Principal

Welcome to our first ever inewsletter. We are very excited about the new look and it is my aim to keep the College community fully informed about the fantastic opportunities our students have participated in each month of the school year.

The college is a very busy place and the opportunities afforded to our students by our dedicated staff constantly astounds me. Without their commitment and effort, our students could not do the extra-curricular activities they do.

In each inewsletter, you will read about the amazing sports our students have competed in. You will read what is happening at each year level. You will also be provided with up to date information about events that are coming soon to the College, so you can put these in your own calendars.

I will also keep you informed of whole school activities through my own column.

The inewsletter can be found in the new College website.

I look forward to stronger communication with our families and welcome feedback at any time.

Will Hipkin Order of Australia

Congratulations to Will Hipkin of Year 11 who is the inaugural winner of the  Order of Australia Association, Victorian Branch, Hon Roy Ward award for Courage, Fortitude, Outstanding School Leadership and Community Service.

Will received his award at a recent Order of Australia Association awards lunch.

Hayden Young AFL Life Members Scholarship

Hayden Young, was recently presented with the Jack Collins-Alan Schwab AFL Life Members scholarship.  An award that is presented to only one junior footballer across the whole of Australia. Past winners of this award include Essendon's Darcy Parich, GWS star Lachie Whitfield and Collingwood's Rising Star winner Jaidyn Stephenson. Hayden is a very humble young man, so it is highly unlikely that most people know of his amazing achievements.

Congratulations Hayden.
