Happy Birthday Lorraine
Rochester Secondary College staff and students would like to wish our amazing librarian, Lorraine Quinlan, a very happy 80th birthday for Wednesday 17 February. We hope that she enjoys her special day and takes time to reflect on her life’s many achievements.
Lorraine has been a wonderful asset to our college for over 47 years, always putting the students first. Lorraine commenced in 1974, when the school was known as Rochester High School. She has worked under eight different principals and has seen many changes over the years, including the school fire in 1982 and the 2011 floods.
Working with librarians Barbara Wolfe, Quinelda Ram, Ruth Turpin, Lyn Coulter and Debbie Schier-Bisch, Lorraine has always given above and beyond her duties for the good of the school.
Lorraine is an active and compassionate community member. Her understanding of Rochester and district, and the people who live here, ensures that RSC students and staff always benefit from her ideas and connections.
This is our entire school community’s brief but sincere message of best wishes: Happy Birthday, Lorraine!
