Level 5/6

The Level 5/6’s have been working so well in class after a lovely long weekend. 

At the moment we are focusing on writing narrative stories. The students have done a fantastic job writing some sizzling starts to hook the reader. Here are a couple of examples of their fabulous sizzling starts that were inspired by visual prompt. 

Lucas Porter. Is that….. oh no it’s an emu stampede! Help! Oh no the koalas are attacking from the north and is that a kangaroo protesting?

Elise Van Praag. As the world seems to be passing by, the thoughts in my head aren’t leaving. What if? What if?.... CRASH!

The Grade 6’s have also just received their Grade 6 jumpers and t-shirts. How wonderful do they look! It is great to celebrate their last year of school with something special to wear and remember the year by.
