Level 1

It’s been a busy time in Level 1. We have started our Reading Workshops and students are enjoying this small group work throughout the week. In Maths, we have been discussing the seasons, days, months and time. Students made their own clocks with some very imaginative results! 

We have been meeting regularly with our Buddy classes to work on activities together, involving much chaos (structured, of course!), hilarity and bonding. Activities have varied across classes but have included self-portraits, making books together and games.

Students have attended two sessions of the SEDA cricket clinic, which they have enjoyed. The students rotated through various activities in small groups, working on ball skills. They did especially well in the second session on such a hot day (fortunately, it was also icy pole day!).
