YEAR 7 STEM

7 STEM assemble solar lights for Solarbuddy

During a science class this week, the IB students helped the Year 7 STEM class to assemble solar lights for the organisation Solarbuddy. 

The IB students have completed a number of fundraisers to enable us to buy two sets of solar lights to send to students in energy poor countries. 

The lights will allow young people to do homework once the sun goes down and help to improve air quality in houses because they are a clean energy source. The Year 7 students wrote letters to the recipients of the lights.
