Within the next couple of weeks the upper year level students will have the opportunity to participate in the Puberty Education Sessions. Due to restrictions we faced over the past years we have not been able to invite into our school the Community Health nurses that run this program and now we are very excited to welcome them back to our school. Puberty Education can be a sensitive topic for many primary school students. Teaching it therefore requires a lot of sensitivity and care to ensure the needs of our students are met while also meeting the requirements of the Australian Curriculum. It also helps the students to know that growing up and going through puberty is a universal experience.

Last week we announced that the Bravehearts Program will once again be back in our school.   The Foundation to Year 3 students will participate in the Bravehearts Personal Safety Program on Thursday 8th September.
