Kitchen Garden Update

The 3/4 students have been working hard across many areas of the school. They have been shovelling and carting soil to fill up low spots on the oval. The chickens have been happy to receive the weeds from the garden.  Leeks and spinach have been harvested and will be used in the kitchen in the coming weeks. In the garden shed we have been learning about herbs and how they can be used in the kitchen. The 3/4’s have done a wonderful job of running the Share Table across the last 2 weeks. The students will be setting up in the school on a Wednesday afternoon, so please keep an eye out if you would like to take some fresh produce home to share.
