Year 7 Transition Information

With the end of the year quickly approaching, there are a number of transition/information session dates to add to your diary! 

 

Bannockburn P-12 College:

• Wednesday 24th November - 2021 Year 7 Information night via Zoom 

• Wednesday 7th December – 2022 Year 7 State wide Transition

 

Please contact your child's 2022 Secondary School for specific transition information, times and dates. 

 

Grade 6 Graduation Evening: Monday 13th December, 5pm 

It is with great excitement that we announce the plans for our Grade 6 Graduation Evening for the Class of 2021! Similar to last year, our Graduation will be a positive, inclusive event with parents now allowed to attend on-site at Teesdale Primary School. We are relieved that families will have the opportunity to see their child graduate, in person!

 

The evening will consist of two parts:

  1. Graduation Ceremony On-Site at Teesdale PS (speeches, awards and presentation) with students, staff and two invited family members. If weather permits, the ceremony will be located under our new COLA area. Otherwise, we will set up in the BER Senior Building. Families are to arrive by 4:50pm, for a 5pm start. Please note, all adult attendees must use the QR code to sign in and show proof of double vaccination in line with Government regulations. The ceremony will conclude by 6.30pm. Refreshing punch will be served for guests.
  2. Graduation Dinner: Fyansford Hotel - staff and students will make their way to the Fyansford Hotel for a group dinner. The dinner will be for staff and students only, due to venue restrictions at the Fyansford Hotel. The dinner will begin at 7pm and conclude at approx. 8:30pm. Families may wish to book their own table for dinner via the Fyansford Hotel directly, however will not be part of our 'group' booking. Please note, students will need to make their own way to Fyansford Hotel. Dress Code: 'smart casual'.

Over the next few weeks, Mrs Kelley and Miss Armstrong will finalise menu options and the costs associated with the evening. Once these details are finalised, families will receive a direct Sentral message with payment information and invoice, specific evening arrangements and dinner order options for your child. Stay tuned for this coming information!
