NAIDOC Week

Over the past 2 weeks classrooms have been celebrating NAIDOC Week and have engaged in various related activities. NAIDOC stands for ‘National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Day Observance Committee’ and NAIDOC Week is a celebration held every year in July. This is when we celebrate the culture, history and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. Student's have read Dreamtime stories, learnt about the Bunurong Land our school is built on, completed related art activities and listened to various Indigenous Australian music in this time.

Everyone has shown some great participation and engagement in their learning!
