Literacy and Pre-Reading Skills

This semester the students from group 2 have had a fantastic opportunity to develop their pre-reading and writing skills, interpret pictures and understand what they mean. All students have been exposed to the many picture books, visuals and social stories on offer to develop a love of books. Students are encouraged to listen to stories from picture books, individualized social stories and stories on the interactive whiteboard. Students have really enjoyed completing art and craft activities related to the story to consolidate their learning. Well done to all the students from group 2, we are very proud of all your achievements.
