Curriculum Matters

In accordance with the Safe Working Policy, areas that require enclosed leather footwear that cover the top of the foot and have a sturdy non-slip sole are:

• Industrial Arts and Trades Workshop areas,
• Science Laboratories,
• Canteen or Food Technology (Kitchen) areas.

Teachers have been enforcing this policy throughout the year and it is a reminder to families to please ensure students have the correct footwear to participate in the lesson. 

In addition, any student undertaking Food Technology (year 9 or 10) and cooking in year 8, are reminded to bring a plastic container to take their food at the end of the practical lesson. We are unable to provide disposable plastic containers.
