Back in Town

Actor Toby Leonard Moore (SVC 1993-96)  was a member of the final St Virgil’s class at the Barrack Street site. On leaving school, Toby attended the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).  He has spent many years in the USA starring in movie and television roles with his home base in New York.

At recent 2022 Logies Awards Night, Toby unexpectedly bobbed up as a presenter. He is back in Australia to star alongside award-winning actress Marta Dusseldorp in on ABC’s eight-part darkly comedic crime series Bay of Fires which is being filmed in Tasmania.

Bay of Fires is an Archipelago Productions and Fremantle Australia production for the ABC. Major production investment from Screen Australia in association with the ABC and Screen Tasmania, with support from VicScreen. Fremantle will distribute the series internationally. The cast is pictured above.
