LOCKETT, David Anthony 'Sticks’

01/08/1949 - 28/06/2022 (SVC 1965-66)

David passed away peacefully at home in Canberra. Loving Husband of Liz. Loving Father of Richard (dec) and Claire. Father-in-law of Rhianna and Hugo. Loving Poppy of Harvey, Alex and Jesse. Brother of Beth, Christine and Tim. Brother-in-law of Rudy and John and Friend of Sue. Son of the late Des and Josie. David played football with North Hobart and the Old Virgilians – the old boys wore black arm bands in his honour at the match against OHA at Geilston Bay on Saturday July 2.

LYNCH, Brian Robert ‘Barney’

13/8/1949 - 2/7/2022 (svc 1962-65)

Cherished Husband and soulmate of Anne. Adored and adoring father of Amanda, Deanna and Jaclyn. Father in law and friend of Scott and Jason. Greatest Poppy and mischief maker of Christian and Edward (SVC - current school captain of the St Virgil’s Junior School). Brian played with the Old Virgilians football side for a number of years.

MADDEN, Diane Fay

25.10.1943 – 17.6.2022

Dearly loved, loving and devoted wife of Ray (dec.) for 50 years. Mother of Danielle and Nathan (SVC 1984-89), grandmother of Rhiannon and Oliver, and great-grandma of Noah.

OGLE, Marie Doris

06.11.1931 – 21.06.2022

Passed away peacefully and content after treasured time with family. Loved and loving wife of Kevin (dec). Cherished and adored mother and mother-in-law of Helen and Peter Pullen (SVC 1975-83), Marty (SVC 1966-74) and Karen, Lorain and Pam, Phil (SVC 1972-80) and Karen, Cate and Ray, Frank (SVC 1964-70) and Mandy. Treasured Nan and confidante of Sarah and Beth, Tessa and Cassie, Thea, Matt (SVC 2008-11) and Will (SVC 2010-13), Meghann and their partners. Marie gave everyone love and light. The Ogle family are grateful to her friends and community who loved her.Marie had a great love of the College and the Old Virgilians Football Club, and was known as the ‘matriarch’ of St Theresa’s in Moonah due the her long and dedicated association with it.
