NATIONAL TREE DAY
National Tree Day began over 25 years ago and has now become the largest community tree planting and nature care event in Australia.
National Tree Day is celebrated on July 31st, with Schools Tree Day Friday 29th July, but there is something happening right now that you can be part of to help celebrate!
2022 SCHOOLS COMPETITION
This year there is a green garden design competition open to schools. We want to know how and why you want to bring nature to South Melbourne Park Primary.
As a school, we can put in one entry per class. An entry is a drawing, poster, written story, video, or whatever other form your plans take, about how and why you want to bring nature to South Melbourne Park Primary.
Winners will be given the opportunity to make their plans come to life with a garden makeover!

What a great winter school holiday activity! If you work on this over the holidays please keep your entry. Once we are back in Term 3 each class will decide on one entry to submit.
