Food and garden organics (FOGO) waste service to Maroondah in May 2023
The new change will allow food waste to be added to your garden bin. Council will be providing Maroondah households with a kitchen caddy and compostable liners and changing our garden bin lid from maroon to lime green. Any residents who don't wish to receive the kitchen caddy or compostable liners will have the opportunity to opt out. This change is happening to meet the requirements of the Victorian Government’s Recycling Victoria Policy, released in February 2020, which outlines that all Councils will need to introduce a food and garden organics service and standardise their bin lids by 2030.
Fundamentals of Football’ clinic
I am currently running a community ‘Fundamentals of Football’ clinic on the 28th of June.
We are looking to get as many kids between the ages of 11-18 (both boys and girls) participating. We believe this is a great opportunity for them to stay active during the school holidays whilst also improving their skills and gaining valuable knowledge within the game of Australian rules football.
This will be greatly beneficial to your students and therefore, I am leaning on you to help me spread the word. Any way you see fit helping advertise this great community event would be much appreciated. Whether it’s putting it in your newsletter, advertising it in your sports department or any other ways you can think of. They all help us achieve our goal of helping kids who have missed out on playing the sport they love over the last 2 years, get back having fun and learning.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions
