SPA update

Winter Solstice 

We were delighted to host our first Winter Solstice event on Friday 17 June. It was a wonderful evening with nearly 350 of the Shelford community enjoying Shelford talents, with musical groups from across the school, great food, market stalls and face painting.

 

We thank all stall holders, participants and performers for their incredible response and energy throughout the night. 

Secondhand uniform sale

The next second-hand uniform sale is on:

  • Saturday 30 July 2022, 9am–12pm

The sale is in Room 4 and entry is via the milk gate.

Selling your uniforms

Those wishing to bring uniform items in to school for Sale must complete the Contract of sale (please click and complete form). Uniforms can be dropped to Reception during school hours. All items must be laundered, clean and in saleable condition.

Shelly Shark Tank

Shelly Shark Tank is an opportunity for students to pitch their ideas on how to enhance our school: you have $500 – what innovation or idea would you bring to Shelford?

Your submission needs to include:

  • Your name/team members names
  • What is your suggestion? Why?
  • How will this benefit the school community?

There are two categories that will be awarded:

  • Junior School
  • Senior School

The winning individual or category in each team will implement their ideas.

The selection panel will consist of Parents, Teachers and Shelford students.

CPR course

SPA are offering a CPR course on Monday 1 August. The course will be run by the School's First Aid provider, Hero HQ. It is a 1.5 hour session which will provide a certificate in CPR. All Senior School girls, parents and friends are invited to attend.

  • There is an online module to complete prior to attending that will be emailed to you once registered
  • Girls in Year 7 and 8 must have a parent attending with them
