Emmanuel College

Term 2 has already seen lots of activity for our students, with Anzac Day assemblies held last Wednesday, in respect of those that fought and lost their lives in conflict. We were honored to have representatives from the Australian Defence Force attend both campuses and make the opening address at assembly.

Interschool sport has commenced at both campuses. The first week of competition saw students working well as a team and participating like all good sports should.

Rehearsals for this year’s musical production, The Addams Family, are well underway, and we are looking forward to seeing our students collaborate across campus to bring this performance to life. This is another great way that our students get involved in activities outside of the classroom, working backstage with costumes, assisting with lighting and sound, as part of the orchestra and onstage performing.

This week will see Parent/Teacher Interviews being conducted. This is another great opportunity to continue to build the home/school/student relationship. We are looking forward to meeting with parents and students and talking about progress.

The next opportunity for you to come along and see the fantastic facilities here at Emmanuel will be on Open Day, where you can hear from our College Principal Dr. Janine Biggin and Campus Leaders, meet students and join us on a campus tour.
