Guide Dogs Victoria visits 8J2

On June 1 Alicia from Guide dogs Victoria came and held an activity for my class relating to my vision, which was a tonne of fun! We spoke about a range of different ways the class can help me around the classroom and navigate. The class was paired up and one of the students was blindfolded and given a cane.
When put under blindfold the world was a whole new place and most students were more hesitant than usual. Towards the end we had a feedback session and most students said they don't know how I survive! I enjoyed educating the other students on what my vision is like.
