Going Medieval

This term, our year 8 students have had the opportunity to participate in an incursion from History Up Close. These students got to be up close and personal with reproductions of Medieval clothing and weaponry. 

Some ended up dressed as knights or lords, others as religious figures or peasants. Finally, the moment they all waited for, they got to hold aloft some safe recreations of medieval weaponry and fight to the… well, fight until they were told to stop. All in the name of fun! Everyone emerged with a greater understanding of the Medieval world, filled with laughter and entertainment.
