VCE Theatre Studies Production
On Thursday June 1, the VCE Theatre Studies class presented their production of The Real Inspector Hound in the Backstage. The production process, which has been undertaken over several months, represents an ongoing assessment in the Theatre Studies course where students are assessed on their ability to creatively contribute to the development of a production, through the interpretation of a script. A largely student-led, whole-class project, this task sees students take on the various roles of director, actors, and designers, including sound, lighting, makeup, costume, set and props, working collaboratively through all stages of the production process from research and planning through to performance to an audience.
