Year 10 Work Experience

Jane Scobie

During week four of term, from May 15-19, our Year 10 student cohort completed a week of work experience. The school has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both students and employers, indicating students upheld the school Values of Excellence, Respect and Responsibility. Students worked across a range of various industries, including design, trade, education, fitness, engineering, hospitality, retail, community services and office settings. It was also interesting to note the variety of locations our students worked at, from local to metropolitan and even interstate placements! The Year 10 SELF Team put through calls to each employer over the course of the week and were very proud of the feedback provided about our students’ positive attitudes, punctuality and work ethic. We really value the positive impact our students have had across their various placements and communities and hope the experience has inspired hopes for the future. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the employees for their valuable mentorship throughout the week.

Well done Year 10’s!
