Official Opening of 

C-Wing

On Friday 26 May, we welcomed the Member for Eastern Victoria, The Hon. Harriet Shing MP, Architects Tanya Micallef and Mark Botterill and College Council President Paul Koenig, to join students and staff for the official opening of C-Wing. The morning began with our students Sam and Marram sharing the Creation Story with our guests in the Town Square. We then gathered in C-Wing for the official proceedings.  It is an absolute joy to walk through this building and to see it come alive with learning. Thank you to everyone who has played a part in developing this building and to those who each and every day, make it a space of learning, growth and possibilities. 

At the conclusion of the official opening, our guests, staff and students were treated to a tour of our new B-Wing which is currently under construction. It was exciting to discuss with Harriet the incredible change and growth that the College is going through. We are extremely grateful to the Victorian State Government for their ongoing commitment to education and to improving the learning facilities at Lilydale Heights College. Investing in the development of buildings such as these is an investment in the future of our students.
