Wellbeing

Kindness

Performing acts of kindness increases wellbeing and happiness, has positive effects on our health and fosters positive relationships.  Acts of kindness in school communities help increase motivation and lead to positive academic outcomes. What acts of kindness would you like to try this week?

  • Holding the door for someone
  • Cleaning up a mess you didn’t make
  • Speaking to someone who is on their own
  • Calling someone to check on how they’re doing
  • Smiling at someone as you pass them
  • Donating old clothes
  • Giving a compliment
  • Thanking someone
  • Writing a kind note
  • Internally wishing people well as you walk past them
