School Holiday Program

The April School Holiday program went by so fast but still included thrilling adventures and wonderful new memories with our excursions on the Lady Nelson Sail boat and to Village Cinemas to see ‘The Super Mario Brothers’ movie.

Our most popular days were

  • Mermaid Day: creating shell necklaces with Tasmanian shells and mosaic tiles.
  • Gardening Day: designing pots which we then use to plant succulents.
  • The Lady Nelson Sailing Trip: we headed under the Tasman Bridge and ach child got to steer the ship and ring the big crew bell.
  • The Jungle Party: playing classic party games including pin the tail and pass the parcel.

A big thank you to everyone involved and we hope to have you join us again for our captivating July school Holiday program.

Kindergarten

At the end of Term One, our Kindergarten students prepared for Easter by listening to the sad and happy story of Jesus dying and rising again. We sang, ‘Sing and shout for joy, alleluia!’

When we returned for Term Two we were blessed with superb weather for our first Oval Play, enjoying the sun, exploring the natural environment around us and multiple games of "What's the time Mr Wolf?".

Prep

Our Prep students had a great time at Field day on Tuesday. We started the day by participating in the Kinder to Year 10 Relay Race followed by an 800m Prep Cross Country Race. Preps also got the chance to jump in the sack race, throw a vortex and play under the parachute.

We all had a great time cheering on our houses and participating in this whole school event. We are really looking forward to doing it again next year!
