College Open Day
Our annual College Open Day is at the beginning of Term 2 on this Saturday 6 May from 10.30am to 1.30pm and is a great opportunity for us to invite friends and family along to have a personal tour of the College.
Whole School Cross Country
A reminder that Whole School Cross Country Carnival is coming up on Tuesday 9 May. All year levels will be participating in this event at different times. Students are expected to wear either their PE uniform or house colours. Please read the below letter sent home to families for all the event details.

9:05 am: 9 year old girls (2 kms)
9:10 am: 9 year old boys (2 kms)

Free Basketball Clinic
It is time for the very first free basketball clinic of the year! The Bayside Raiders Basketball Club will be running a fun afternoon for Primary and Lower-Secondary students on Friday 12 May from 3:30pm - 5pm in the gym and on the basketball court.
We are pleased to announce that we have three Senior Frankston Blues players coming to our school especially for this event. Fun and learning of new skills is guaranteed! We will be running these days once each term - all you have to do is turn up.
You do not have to be an existing Bayside Raiders player to participate. Bring your siblings and friends! So, pop the date into your calendar and don’t forget to bring runners and a drink bottle. For any queries, please email Ulli Austermann
Aladdin Tickets on Sale
Aladdin Jr is coming alive and the excitement is rising! On Monday the 25 April our Aladdin Jr Cast had a full day dress rehearsal. It was a great success and the show is looking so bright and colourful!
Please invite all your family and friends to buy tickets to the shows and start spreading the word within the school community to purchase your tickets.
Once again I appreciate your support and encouragement. The anticipation is building and I can't wait for you to see the results of the work our talented students have put in. They are AMAZING!!!!
Tickets for Bayside Christian College’s production of Aladdin Jr are now available for purchase. The dates of the performances are Wednesday 17 May 7.30pm, Thursday 18 May 7.30pm, and Friday 19 May 7.30pm in the George Jenkins Theatre at Monash University Frankston.
Primary District Athletics
Please note as this week's Primary District Athletics (Track) event was postponed it has been rescheduled to Wednesday 30 August at Ballam Park. Further correspondence will be sent to families in the coming weeks.
Trades Skills Centre Cafe
The North Campus Cafe has a new winter menu with hot meals available every Thursday!
- Pasta Napoletana (Vegetarian) $4.00
- Nachos with Salsa and Cheese $3.00 and $50c for extra toppings (Sour cream and Guacamole available)
- Fried Dim Sims $1.50
- Chicken Nuggets 6 for $3.00
- Nuggets and Small Chips $5

- As well as our staples - sausage rolls, donuts, party pies and hot chips
The Cafe is open every Thursday from 10:30am to 1:30pm and serve to the public as well as Year 10-12 students staff.
Community Playgroup
The Bayside Community Playgroup runs every Thursday from 9am to 10:30am for children aged 0-5 years for indoor play, craft, painting, creative play, story time and sing-a-long while parents and carers supervise playtime and enjoy a cuppa and light morning tea. Cost is $2 per child to attend each week. Please pack a nut-free snack and water bottle for your child. No booking required.
Prayer Group
The Bayside Prayer Group meet every Monday morning from 9am to 9.30am in the Community Room (M2) to pray for the College. Parents, carers and staff are welcome to join at any time. The group also frequently meet at 7.30pm on Monday evenings to walk around the College grounds. For more information please contact Bek Shelling on 0403 804 972.
