Parents and Friends News

Dear families,

It was wonderful to see so many families at school last week enjoying the End of Year Celebration. All the children had a great time playing on the playground, with the sports equipment and dancing along to the wonderful music. Lovely to see so many happy faces around the schoolyard!

A special thank you to Ange Collins and Ray Gale for the fantastic music, it made a wonderful atmosphere.

If you attend our school hall on Saturday to vote in the State Election please support the P&F BBQ Fundraiser. Sausages with or without onion will be on sale for $2.50.

Thank you to the parents who have volunteered their time to run the BBQ.

The next P&F Meeting will be held on Monday 5 December 2022 from 6.30pm-7.30pm at the School.

We will review events from this year and plan for 2023 - let us know if you have any ideas of what you would like to see at the school.

Review of Events and Fundraisers

End of Year Celebration - Thursday 17 November 2022

The End of Year Celebration on Thursday, 17th November 2022 was a great celebration of our St. Brendan’s School community.  It was nice to see so many families attend and enjoy the music by Ange Collins and Ray Gale.

The children enjoyed playing together on the playground, with the sports equipment and dancing along to the music.

Ange and Ray were able to play some of the songs the children have been learning dances to, it was great to see the children joining and showing off what they have learnt.

Next P&F Meeting

The next P&F Meeting will be held on Monday, 5th December 2022, 6.30pm-7.30pm.

The meeting will be in the evening as these times have been more suitable for most with work commitments during the day.

This meeting is close to the end of term, as has been rescheduled from earlier in the term, but will make sure we are well organised for 2023. This will be a great time to come along to let us know what you want to see at school next year.  We will also review events/fundraisers from 2022.

Please come along to show your support for the P&F.   The P&F can only operate with input from the school community.

Expressions of interest will be called for Committee Members.  The role of President will also be vacant at the end of 2022 – please contact us to have a chat if you are interested in this role.

Being a part of the Committee isn’t a large time commitment and there are no set requirements of a member.

Please RSVP to parentsandfriends@sbshepparton.catholic.edu.au by Sunday, 4th December 2022 if you are able to attend the meeting or if you have any questions/ suggestions

Business interest

Do you own/run a business, or know of a business, that may be interested in being involved in supporting the school community through fundraisers, sponsorship, in-kind support or at events?

Please contact the P&F by email to register your interest.  We are very interested in working with our school community and building connections with family businesses.
