Foundation 2023 Transition Program

Yesterday we had our first of three Foundation 2023 Transition sessions. It was wonderful to meet our Foundation students for next year and give them a warm welcome to our wonderful school. Children had the opportunity to meet some of the teachers and become familiar with our school. The second session for Foundation Transition is Thursday 24th November from 9:30am to 10:30am.

Swimming

We have swimming coming up for the next two weeks on Tuesday through to Friday. We will be walking down to Fitzroy Swimming Pool for 30 minute lessons. Students need to remember to bring their bathers, towel and change of clothes. The weather looks okay for the next week so please also remember to have a hat.

Surf Life Saving Visit

The grade 3-6 students had a fantastic excursion to South Melbourne Life Saving Club on Tuesday. They learned about how to stay safe in and around water and participated in a range of other activities. Unfortunately it was too cold to practice some of these skills in the water. A big thank you to Kerryn for organising the excursion and the 3-6 teachers and ES who went.

SunSmart Hats

During Term 4 students must wear hats whilst outside. Please make sure your child has a hat and if you need to purchase a new one they are available through our uniform supplier. www.aplusschoolwear.com.au
