Mooroolbark District Community Sports Day
On Friday 4 November,, we hosted the annual Mooroolbark District Community Sports day. With a focus on building positive community spirit among schools in our area, students were placed into teams to participate in several activities, ranging from races to basketball, and shooting to quoits throwing. Each team would earn points for their school depending on their scores in each activity.
Out of our seven teams, three Oxley teams placed first in their section and two teams placed third. Oxley Christian College had the highest average of scoring per team and were awarded the Community Sports Day Championship, a mighty effort!
Congratulations to the Year 5 - 6 students for representing our school in such a positive way.
