Wiburd Shield

On Monday, November 25,  the Calrossy Wiburd Shield Team took the field against Caryina Christian School. Calrossy were sent into the field after the toss and Ben Sleeman ended with figures of 2/40 off 8 overs with Ryan Stewart taking 1/25 off 7. Things got a tougher for our boys as Caryina reached 5/225 after their 40 overs. In the batting Sam Holmes and Tom Aitken formed a nice partnership before Tom was dismissed for 24. Vice-Captain Sam Holmes was later dismissed for 22. Captain Will Aitken took the Calrossy total to 7/155 with a personal milestone of 62 not out. Congratulations to the Caryina Team on their win and thank you to Shawn Meppham and Mrs Jackie Holmes for supporting our team.

OzTag Finals 

Last week Calrossy Secondary had two teams in the Grand Final.  Calrossy Blue scored a win over Carinya while our Calrossy Green were defeated narrowly by Oxley.  Well done teams for making the finals.
