Art Show Prizes Presented and Captains Speeches: BOYS. Morning Assembly COLA 8.50am, Parents Welcome.

Captain Speeches: GIRLS. Morning Assembly COLA 8.50am, Parents Welcome.
Wednesday 4th December
Prep Concert WCC Hall 10am. Parents and friends are invited to the Prep Annual Concert where we celebrate the youngest students in our school. P-2 will attend to watch and all students in Prep will perform.
Thursday 5th December
Year 6 Celebration Dinner: WCC Hall 6-9pm for Year 5 and 6 students. At the same time, Year 5 and 6 Parents are invited to dinner at the Tudor Hotel from 6:15 – 8:45pm, please RSVP to Sharon Barnett and Elesa Crowley. Please see invitation sent via email for further details.
Friday 6th December
Primary Christmas Service: Parents are welcome to join us in in the WCC Hall for our final Assembly of the year. It will be a combined Christmas Service for all students in Kindergarten to Year 6 from 9-10am.
Year 6 Assembly: Commencing at 1:30pm on Friday 6th December in the WCC Hall. The Year 6 students will perform a variety of skits in a very fun afternoon. Year 6 Families and friends are invited to join all the students from Kinder to Year 6 at this event.
Reports: Semester Two Academic Reports will be uploaded to the Parent portal on Friday 6th December. Now is a good time to check if you can login to the Parent Portal on the HUB. If you have trouble logging in or accessing your child’s report, please contact thehub@calrossy.nsw.edu.au
Saturday 7th December
Carols in the Park: Don’t forget this wonderful Christmas community event in Bicentennial Park, Kable Avenue. You will see many familiar Calrossy faces involved in the evening.
Sunday 8th December
P&F Christmas Party: Held at the Longyard Hotel, from 12midday, please join us to celebrate the year and achievements of a wonderful and supportive P&F group across the school.
WEEK 9
Monday 9th December
Parent Teacher Interviews: Interviews will be held Monday through to Thursday over the mornings and afternoons. Parents are welcome to come and reflect on their child’s reports and discuss their learning journey with their teacher. Bookings can be made via the Parent Portal on the HUB.
Tuesday 10th December
Year 6 Picnic Day. Year 6 will be bused to Kootingal Pool and will enjoy a pizza lunch. They will return to school for an afternoon of activities. Please see the information on the HUB for further details.

Assembly Awards
Kindergarten Excursion to the Miniature Railway
Check out these smiles! We're pretty sure our Kindy kids loved their excursion to the Tamworth Miniature Railway last week. They boarded the big Calrossy bus to the railway then caught the trains. Thanks to the wonderful volunteers who helped our students have so much fun on this adventure.
K - 2 Swim Survive
Our Infants students recently completed their Swim and Survive lessons with the help of some Year 9 girls. The lessons focus on the lifesaving skills of water awareness, skills and how to stay safe in and around water. There is a photo gallery on The Hub.

Thank You To Rural Fire Service
In case you missed it, a number of our Primary students banded together recently to make cards for the local Rural Fire Service volunteers. The students made thank you cards for all the hard work of the fire fighters, with some Secondary students adding some chocolate cake to the goodies. Well done to everyone involved and to Mr Tockuss for organising.
