SENIOR SCHOOL NEWS:
Year 12
MIPS Interviews (Managed Individual Pathway Sessions) with Year 12 students have been finishing up this week. The focus has been on students current study plans, report feedback and future career plans and provides information for the Senior School Team to target student needs to successfully transition from MSC.
Year 11
Most Year 11 students this week have had their subject selection and career pathway interviews for 2019 and beyond with a member of the Senior School Team. Many students have still to complete and return their CAPS (Career Action Plans) to the Senior School Office. This document provides information for future information sessions and opportunities for the students.
Year 10
Course Selection interviews will take place on Wednesday 15th August. Parents/Guardians and Students are required to make an appointment with a member of the Senior School Team CP/LB/OB/JW to discuss their 2019 Pathways. Each booking session lasts 30 minutes and run from 9 am to 7 pm. This day is a pupil free day. Students will not have classes, but are expected to attend one of these sessions with these teachers. To book a session please look at the Compass Parent Home Page for Year 10 Course Selections or follow the instructions on the recent letter regarding the Information Evening and book a time that best suits. These sessions will focus upon VCE/VCAL/VET preferences and subjects based around what student careers plans are after completing secondary college. If you do not have Compass, access please contact the college to speak to the Senior School Team who will assist in bookings. If you are unable to attend on this day, please contact Ms Bentley at the school.
